Comptroller Finds Faults with Misezhnikov's Conduct

The State Comptroller has written a draft of a serious report about the conduct of Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov, Channel 10 News reported on Wednesday.

The report stipulates that the minister was in a serious conflict of interest is when his ministry budgeted a student festival is produced by a woman with who he had a personal relationship. In addition, Channel 10 reported, it appears that the amount of money transferred to the festival was significantly higher than what his ministry is allowed to provide. The State Comptroller has not yet decided whether to recommend to the Attorney General to launch a criminal investigation against Misezhnikov.
