A new United Nations report warns governments to figure out how to cope with rapidly aging populations. The warning was directed at developing nations in particular, where there are currently many young workers.
The report noted that there are currently an estimated 810 million people worldwide over the age of 60. By 2022 that number is expected to pass one billion, and by 2050, there may be two billion people over 60 worldwide.
