Moshe Feiglin, head of the Likud’s Jewish Leadership faction, has refused to sign on bail terms proposed by the police. He decided to avoid signing even at the cost of remaining in custody.
Feiglin and Hagai Weiss were arrested Tuesday morning while visiting the Temple Mount. The two are accused of having prayed at the holy site. Under current regulations, only Muslims are allowed to pray on the Temple Mount, while Jews are forbidden to do anything that could be interpreted as worship.
