New minimum wages went into effect, Tuesday, the first working day of October.

Based on a monthly wage of 4,300 shekels ($1,099), the hourly rate for an adult is now NIS 23.12, while youth up to the age of 16 will receive 17.49 shekels an hour and 17-year-olds will make at least NIS 20.63 an hour.
