Claim: Arab Attacked Woman next to Kibbutz Hasharon

A 64-year-old woman was treated for light wounds, Tuesday morning at Ha'emek Hospital in the northern Israeli city of Afula. The woman claimed she was jumped, from behind, by a "minority member" as she walked next to the orchards of Kibbutz Hasharon. She claims the assailant hit her during a struggle and ran away.

Following a search by security services and volunteers, six Palestinian Authority (PA) residents who did not have permits to leave the PA were detained near Kibbutz Yavniel. They had been seen fleeing the scene of the attack. The suspects were taken in for questioning by Tiberias police.
