Ya'alon: Sanctions on Iran Have Not Done Their Job

Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya'alon said, Tuesday, that Iran's nuclear development program is advancing, despite the pressure being put on the Islamic Republic. He added that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu did a good thing when he presented red lines to the Tehran government during his speech at the United Nations.

Interviewed on Monday by Kol Yisrael government radio, Ya'alon said the fall of the regime of President Bashar Al-Assad in Syria would deal a real blow to Iranian interests, which is why it is investing a lot of money, know-how, technology and intelligence in the Damascus government.
