The community of Elon Moreh is preparing to welcome the thousands of visitors that are expected to arrive for a lookout on Mount Kabir during the holiday of Sukkot.
Benny Katzover, chairman of the Samaria Residents’ Committee, told Arutz Sheva on Thursday that “during Chol Hamoed (the intermediate days of Sukkot), there is large movement of people here and we are preparing for everyone.”
Katzover said that the youth of Elon Moreh have volunteered to prepare the community to absorb the masses. “We’ve doubled the synagogue sukkah in size and we prepared another sukkah on Mount Kabir. There will be tours during all hours of the day and the youth have been trained to be guides,” he said.
