Netanyahu Starts with a Reference to King David

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu started his speech to the United Nations General Assembly, Thursday afternoon by noting that the Israeli ambassador was presiding over the body. He continued by referring to King David's presence in the Jerusalem more than 3,000 years ago.

Netanyahu noted that Israel has survived those who have threatened to destroy it and the Jewish people, who have returned from exile to advance in many fields.
