Netanyahu to Speak after Mahmoud Abbas

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is scheduled to address the United Nations General Assembly shortly. His address will follow that of Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and is expected to concentrate on the Iranian nuclear threat.

In his remarks, Abu-Mazen blamed Israel for the lack of progress in diplomatic talks, accusing the Jewish state of standing in the way of establishing a Palestinian Authority state. He called the Palestine Liberation Organization the only representative of the Palestinian people.
