IDF Firing Zones to Open for Hiking over Sukkot

The IDF will open some of its northern, central and southern Israel firing zones for public hiking over Sukkot. The IDF spokesman warns nonetheless that “some firing zones will remain closed and are entirely inaccessible. Access to a live firing zone requires written approval, and is otherwise illegal and puts hikers at risk. No fences may be crossed. Minefields are will marked with barbed wire and triangular red warning signs.”
