The Knesset Economic Committee is currently discussing the collapse of Maariv news paper and securing its employee’s rights.
The employees submitted an official statement to the committee, “’Maariv’ and the media are an essential asset of Israeli society, of democracy and of thousands of employees whose livelihood is at stake.”
