US secretary of State called to the UN Security Council Wednesday to attempt to resolve the Syrian crisis.

“The atrocities go on and the Security Council is paralyzed. The violence must be stopped before it spreads to other countries,” said Clinton.

Some 300 people were killed in Syria Wednesday, some 30,000 since the conflict began eighteen months ago.
