The President of Argentina Cristina Kirchner announced at the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday that after years of ignored requests, the government of Iran has agreed to hold a meeting and discuss responsibility in the Jewish community building in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1994.
"Iran wants to cooperate in investigating the attack," said Kirchner. "I look forward to the results of the meeting."
On July 18, 1994 a terrorist named Ibrahim Hussein Berro detonated a car bomb in front of the Buenos Aires Jewish community. 85 people were killed and 330 were injured in the terror attack. The government of Argentina has stated that the Hezbollah terrorist organization and Iran were behind the attack.
