Israel's ambassador to the UN, Ron Prosor, walked out of a speech by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinajad in a forum of heads of state and foreign ministers discussing international law Monday. As he exited the room, Prosor said loudly and angrily that “there is no justice here. The leader of a bandit state that flouts international law on a regular basis and violates the norms of justice has no place here. It is a shameful that the UN allows this man to speak on such an important issue.
“To allow Ahmedinajad to speak at the UN about the rule of law is like placing a pyromaniac as a firefighter,” Prosor added.
