President Shimon Peres on Monday paid a condolence call to the family of Corporal Netanel Yahalomi h"yd, killed in Friday's terror attack on Israel's southern border. Peres said he had come to tell the family how sad, hurt, and proud he and the people of Israel were over Yahalomi's service and sacrifice.
“Your son was the first to fire back at the satanic terrorists, who took advantage of our kindness and humanity to give water to refugees on the border to kill and attack us. Your son bravely killed a terrorist, preventing a terror attack and saving many Jews,” Peres told the family.
