Civilian IDF workers on Monday held “informational meetings,” as part of their dispute with management over wages and conditions. Workers will also no longer work overtime until their complaints are addressed, union representatives said. The IDF has thousands of civilian workers, and many essential services were suspended during the time the workers held their meetings on Monday morning.

The workers are demanding a 4.5% salary increase, and a guarantee that jobs currently within the framework of the work staff will not be outsourced.
