The Tafugen Company announced a recall, Sunday evening, of its mashed potato wafers (Vafel Pireh Tapuchei Adama in Hebrew), after plastic particles were found in 500-gram packages of the product (Barcode 7290012884467 with an expiration date of January 31, 2014).

The company said it is collecting the product from points of sale and is promising alternatives to people who purchased the defective product. A statement by Tafugen said that consumers should contact the company's customer service or go to its Website for a replacement.
