A Rehovot resident was arrested over the weekend after he was caught attempting to break into the mailbox of former IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi. The man, in his 50s, was seen by residents of Ashkenazi's street in Kfar Sava behaving suspiciously, and was later caught trying to rummage through Ashkenazi's mail.

Upon questioning by police, the mans said that he was seeking a home improvement company, and thought that he could find a flyer for one in the mailbox.
