Israel hands over bodies of three terrorists

Israel has transferred to Egypt the bodies of three terrorists who killed Israeli soldier Netanel Yahalomi, 20, in a cross-border raid, before being killed themselves, an Israeli military source said Saturday.

"Last night we handed over to Egyptian authorities the bodies of the three terrorists killed yesterday," the source told AFP, without elaborating.

The attack occurred when the three heavily-armed terrorists infiltrated into Israel from neighboring Egypt's Sinai peninsula on Friday and opened fire at IDF soldiers who were patrolling the border. Yahalomi, a combat fighter of the Artillery Corps from Nof Ayalon was killed, while another IDF soldier was moderately injured.
