A judge in Los Angeles denied, Thursday, a bid by Cindy Lee Garcia, one of the actors in the anti-Islamic video "Innocence of Muslims", for an emergency injunction which would remove the video from the YouTube internet site. The Times of London reported that the judge denied the petition, in part, because the producer of the movie - who has been in hiding - had not been served with a lawsuit claiming fraud and slander.
Garcia claims she was told the movie was about ancient Egypt. She added that before the movie was uploaded to the internet, her voice was overdubbed to include anti-Islamic material. Since its recent rise to the forefront, Garcia says her family has been threatened.
