Obama Won't Meet Morsi in New York

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry announced, Thursday, that Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi will not meet with United States President Barack Obama during his visit to New York, next week. About two months ago it was reported that the American president and his Egyptian counterpart would meet on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly but, the ministry said, President Obama will leave right after he addresses the body so there will be no time for the meeting.

The ministry announced that President Morsi will meet with French President Francois Hollande and British Prime Minister David Cameron.
