A demonstration by residents of the Palestinian Authority turned violent, Thursday evening, next to the Bituniya checkpoint, south of Ramallah.

A Border Police officer was lightly wounded by a rock thrown by one of the rioters. Other members of the security forces responded with crowd-dispersal measures.
