As part of a holiday campaign, the Amana housing movement is reactivating a NIS 1.7 million loan fund designed to allow residents of Judea and Samaria (Shomron) to add rental units to their homes as a means of increasing the number of residents in the area. Amana said, Thursday, that the fund was responsible, in two previous campaigns, for the addition of a total of 500 units, the equivalent of a big community. Some of the rental units were built as additions to existing structures. Others were built as separate structures.
Every resident of the region is eligible for an 85,000 shekel loan, payable over six years.
