The United States-based Bank of America had problems with its website on Tuesday night as a group of hackers targeted the site.
The group, which calls itself Azzadin el-Kassam Cyber Warriors, said the hacking attack was revenge for an anti-Islam movie titled Innocence of Muslims. The attack was the “first step” in a larger plan to target property owned by “American Zionist capitalists,” the group threatened in a statement released online.
