IDF Soldiers Halt Sinai Arab Drug Smugglers

IDF soldiers confiscated 700 kilos of drugs that smugglers were attempting to bring into the country. The smugglers attempted to smuggle the drugs into Israel via the southern border from Sinai. Soldiers found two jeeps stuck in the sand next to the town of Kadesh Barnea.

The smugglers disappeared before the soldiers could arrest them. IDF soldiers believe the smugglers were Bedouin from Sinai or the Negev, and have increased their patrols in the area.
