Afghan President Condemns Film on Mohammed

Hamid Karzai, President of Afghanistan, has strongly criticized the film on Mohammed blamed for having sparked Wednesday's riots in Libya and Cairo, calling it "inhuman and hurtful."

America's ambassador in Kabul responded by requesting that the Afghan regime help in maintaining quiet in the country in the face of the Muslim riots allegedly caused by the film.

News sources have claimed that the tragic attack on the United States Embassy in Benghazi, killing four, was planned in advance by al Qaeda terrorists in revenge for the elimination of their second-in-command by US forces. Rockets used in the attack, one of which killed the US ambassador, support the claim that it was not spontaneous.
