Britain’s Channel 4 has cancelled a planned screening of the documentary Islam: The Untold Story after presenter Tom Holland was threatened with violence, British media outlets have reported. The film was previously aired on Channel 4.
Holland’s film portrays Islam as having developed over centuries rather than having been formed during the lifetime of Mohammed, who Muslims revere as a prophet who founded the faith.
