Israel Invests More in Education

Israel is continuing to invest more in education, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics. In 2011 the national investment in education increased by 5.8%, following a 5.5% increase in 2010.

The calculations took into account private schools that receive government funds, and looked at education from pre-preschool level to higher education. Individual spending on textbooks, private tutoring and similar fees was included as well.
