Israel’s new roads and train tracks are opening the country and creating new opportunity, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Tuesday, speaking at the opening of Highway 22 in northern Israel. “One can travel from Rosh Hanikra to Eilat, from Metula to Tel Aviv and further south. Anyone can live in any place and work in any place,” he proclaimed.
“The north is the new center,” he continued. “Not only in transportation, but also in natural gas, the metropolitan park in Kishon, and more. It’s happening all over the country… We have a wonderful country, and now we also have a connected country.”
