Prices were down slightly, Monday morning, in mixed trading at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. A few minutes into the session, the TA Composite Index stood at 993.29, down .36 percent, while the TA 100 declined .39 percent to 1,003.01, including a .45-percent drop by the Maof 25 most-widely-invested issues. The 50 stocks just outside the TA 100 stood at 354.05, up .37 percent.
Leading the gainers was the oil and gas index, which rose .72 percent to 954.23, followed by the real estate issues, which stood at 240.48, up .12 percent. The biomed stocks advanced .09 percent to 716.57, while the rest of the technology index fell .34 percent to 356.86. The insurance issues slipped .14 percent to 757.72 as the financial institutions stood at 780.98, down .23 percent, including a .42-percent decline to 878.12 by the bank stocks, while the communications and media index stood at 448.99, down .67 percent.
