The Supreme Court decided, over the weekend, not to hear the petition of a man whose conversion to Judaism was rejected by an appeals court.

The judges in the case said the court was not a place to appeal special conversion-court cases or other rabbinic cases, which have their own professional considerations. They also noted that the rabbinical court decision in the specific case was not unanimous and therefore received serious consideration.
