Nitzan Appointment Approved

The government authorized the appointment of Shai Nitzan as a special advisor in the Attorney General's office. A majority of ministers voted to appoint Nitzan to the position, despite opposition by many rightwing Israelis, who believe that Nitzan has treated residents of Judea and Samaria unfairly. Also appointed as a special advisor was Dina Zilber, who will take over for Mike Blass. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu thanked Blass for his service.
