A Jerusalem court on Sunday handed down a sentence of prison time in the case of four Jerusalem residents who were involved in the robbery of Judaica from a synagogue in Milan. According to the indictment, two of the group stole the Judaica from the Great Synagogue of Milan, and traveled with the stolen goods by train from Paris. From there they took a plane to Israel, where they tried to sell the items, but were prevented from doing so by police.
Most of the items have been recovered, police said.
