Speaking at Sunday's cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu praised Canada's decision to break off diplomatic relations with Iran, and suggested that other countries follow suit. “I would like to congratulate Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper for his moral leadership and for the message he sent to the entire world – that the benighted Iranian regime cannot have nuclear weapons.
“I call on the international community, or at least the responsible members of it, to follow Canada's example and set moral and practical red lines, lines that will end Iran's race to acquire nuclear weapons,” Netanyahu said.
