Three residents of Ar'ara, near Hadera in northern Israel, were arrested, Thursday evening, on suspicion of attacking detectives and Yassam special police officers who were operating in the area.

A 54-year-old man and two 20-year-old sons are accused of threatening the officers and attacking them with rocks. Two of the officers were lightly wounded and sent to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera for treatment.
