Two Friday flights in each direction between Tel Aviv and Frankfurt are expected to be cancelled as a result of sanctions by 18,000 Lufthansa flight attendants. About a thousand passengers were scheduled to be on the four flights.

The four flights are among 1,200 to be cancelled around the world, about two-thirds of the airline's schedule.
