Girls from Jewish School Attacked by Youths in Berlin

A group of girls who study at the Chabad school in Berlin were attacked by local youths as they went home, Wednesday. The attack included anti-Semitic chants, curses and threats. A teacher who saw the incident chased the youths away. It took an hour to calm the girls down.

Chabad emissary, Rabbi Yehuda Teichtel told the hareidi daily Hamevasser the fact that children are becoming victims cannot be allowed to pass silently, noting that the attack came within a week of an attack on a Jew who was accompanied by his young daughter. He called on Berlin police to do all it could to catch the perpetrators and ensure that Jewish students can go to school and return home without fear.
