IDF Keeps MK Khenin from Getting Close to Sinai Border

Member of Knesset Dov Khenin went to the Saharonim Prison in the Negev, Thursday evening, to meet with two women and a boy from Eritrea who were allowed into Israel after having spent eight days on the Sinai border.

During the afternoon, Khenin went to the border with a translator to hear the Eritreans before the decision was made on their disposition. The Israel Defense Forces prevented his access to the border area until Eritrean men, who had also been waiting on the border for eight days, were sent back into Egytian territory and the women and the boy were let into Israel.
