Sixty-six percent of workers and more than one-third of employers say they do not know what the minimum wage is, according to a survey conducted by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor. Fifteen percent of workers said their employers had violated their rights as employees.
More than half of workers say they have never received documentation from their employers detailing the terms of their employment. Sixty percent of employers said they were not aware of the law requiring them to provide such documentation. More than 7% of employers said they did not provide a pension plan.
