The young woman injured Tuesday night in a traffic accident in Petach Tikva has been identified as Moran Mazuz, a former competitor on the Kochav Nolad program, Israel’s version of American Idol.

Mazuz, who suffers from poor vision, was hit by a motorcycle while out running. She suffered a severe head injury and is in critical condition.
