The Egyptian army will move armored personnel carriers into the Sinai, instead of the tanks that bothered Israel by their presence along the border, security officials in Egypt said Tuesday.

A source in the Egyptian army said several days ago that the army began withdrawing tanks that were sent to the Sinai Peninsula as part of an operation against terrorists.
