Those who commit murder should die in prison, MK Aryeh Eldad (National Union) said Tuesday, speaking to the Knesset channel. Eldad confirmed that his opinion extends to “nationalist” murderers such as Ami Popper and Yona Avroshmi as well.

“There’s a terribly light approach to those who commit murder in this country,” he said. “They tell him, ‘stay for 30 years and your debt is paid.’”
