Syria’s Information Minister, Omran al-Zoubi, said on Monday that Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi is a puppet being controlled by the United States and Israel.
Al-Zoubi added that Morsi is no different in this regard from his predecessor, Hosni Mubarak, and added, “The only difference between them is the beard.” He made the remarks in response to Morsi’s condemnation of the Assad regime in a speech he gave at the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Tehran.
