235 people were killed on Monday in Syria, as clashes continued between opponents of the regime and military forces loyal to the Assad regime, the Al-Arabiya network reported.

Meanwhile, a senior officer in Assad’s army told AFP that the army expects to retake the city of Aleppo from rebel forces within ten days.
