An Arab working in Beitar Ilit tried to run over his Jewish employer on Monday. The incident occurred at a construction site in the city. According to the Jewish contractor, the Arab driver of the tractor threatened to slam the tractor's scooper on his head. The contractor called an ambulance, saying that he did not feel well, and he was taken to a nearby hospital.

The Arab was taken in for questioning. Police said that it was not clear whether the Arab acted out of nationalistic motives, or if the background to the incident was a financial dispute.
