Speaking at an event Monday night, Defense Minister Ehud Barak said that Israel was currently faced with many challenges, “both from near and far. We are following developments, and it is difficult to say where they will lead.

“At this time we need logic and proper thought, as well as responsibility to make the right decisions and act on them,” Barak said, adding that there he was sure that the IDF would be able to withstand the test.
