Fewer children died this summer than last year, officials said Monday. According to statistics, 14 children died or were killed in July and August this year, mostly in drownings and traffic accidents. That figure was down sharply from last summer's 24 dead, Israel radio reported.
Two years ago, the number killed during the summer months was 34, the report said.
