A 14 year old youth from Be'ersheva was under arrest Monday for destroying tombstones and desecrating graves at a Christian cemetery in the city. Police opened an investigation into the desecration incident over the weekend, and evidence led to the youth, who was remanded.

The youth has implicated other minors in the incident. Police expect to make further arrests in the case.
