The South African Students Union announced Monday that it was joining a nationwide boycott against Israel. The Union, which represents students in South African universities, said that it was joining the boycott as an “act of solidarity with the Palestinian nation.”

The Union has ordered a review of all college programs that have any connection with Israeli institutions, with the intention of pressuring administrators to cancel them.
