Migron Uprooting Expected to be Complete Monday Evening

Former residents of the Jewish hilltop community of Migron, assisted by 15 teams from the Defense Ministry, continued packing their belongings, Monday morning, for transfer to the nearby Giv'at Hayekev (Vineyard Hill) community of portable buildings. The work is expected to be finished Monday evening.

On Sunday, the teams transferred the belongings of seven families and the contents of the community's public buildings. Manager Eliezer Oyrbach of the Gush Katif Residents' Committee wrote a letter on behalf of those evicted by the government from Gaza in 2005, asking the government to refrain from destroying the community's synagoge and ritual bath.
